CONVENTIONAL PILLAR PICKING RACKING

Regaber, specialists in water control and regulation products, has moved toward the implementation of a wide range of storage solutions in its new warehouse facilities for items requiring specially-sized pallets and custom-designed shelving.

At its new location, Regaber has expanded its storage space up to 5,800m2 and it has also made use of a wider variety of material handling solutions. The company designed a versatile facility comprised of two interconnected bays capable of storing the wide variety of products contained in its catalog. The first of these contained a large number of conventional pallet racks with five load levels for Europallets (three per compartment), although there is also a dynamic shelving area for boxes (for products sold by the box with a specific number of units) and a two-tier mezzanine for the conventional picking of small-sized spare parts (screws, gaskets, washers, etc.). The mezzanine is equipped with conventional shelving to allow picking on four different levels.

The second bay is used to store palletised goods with special sizes. It is here where Regaber’s flagship products is stored-integral drip tubing-which tops all others in terms of business turnover and stock rotation. To store this tubing, the company uses 1.60x1.60m pallets.
