Automated warehouse with DOUBLE-DEPTH RACKING

Valencia-based Berioska boasts a new automated warehouse designed for the storage of finished products. Equipped with double-depth racking, the new system allows stacker crane forks to store pallets in two rack locations, thus enabling the company to house up to twelve racking units to hold up to 7,656 pallets in only three aisles.

Berioska specializes in the manufacture and sale of personal hygiene and beauty care products, recently inaugurated an automatic warehouse system at its facilities in Cheste, Valencia. The main feature of this new system is the inclusion of double-depth pallet storage. Comprised of three aisles (66m in length, 21m in width and 20m in height) and serviced by three robotic pallet stacker cranes with double-depth forks, this racking complex has a capacity for a total of 7,656 800mmx120mm pallets that house up to 1,000kg for storage on ten vertical load levels.
